Watch finches, and even cardinals, perch on the tray and feed. The enclosed glass reservoir shelters your seed from the weather. There are also openings along the bottom of the tray with built-in perching space. Disassemble for easy cleaning. Hang feeders within 3 feet of a window or more than 30 feet away — the two distances that keep birds from hitting the glass. Scrub every two weeks with one part bleach to nine parts water and let them dry before refilling.
